We worked with Siente Bodas and our planner, Luis, from day one to organize our destination wedding in Cartagena, and the experience couldn't have been better. Planning a wedding from afar seemed daunting, but Luis made the entire process incredibly smooth and easy. Luis' taste is truly impeccable. Our wedding was beautifully decorated, and every event flowed naturally thanks to his careful attention to every detail. Throughout the planning process, communication was constant and very thorough, which gave us complete peace of mind. The food selection and preparation were absolutely delicious and perfectly suited our preferences.<\/p>

We were also very impressed with the way Siente Bodas organized the additional events, such as the welcome gathering before the big day and the beach day after. They even assigned staff to support those events, which was an unexpected and much appreciated detail.<\/p>

\u201cIt\u2019s difficult to put into words the incredible work that Luis and his team did and how we owe them our dream wedding, but we\u2019ll do our best to express it.<\/p>

To give a little context, we were living more than 1,600 kilometers away in the United States while planning this wedding with Luis\u2019s help in Cartagena, Colombia. We gave him a budget and he worked within that budget, never pressuring us to spend more money, never showing us things that couldn't be achieved with that budget, and when we found something we wanted, he always found a way to make it happen, even if it meant rearranging some things.<\/p>

We never felt like we had to make sacrifices when planning the wedding, although realistically I'm sure we did make some, but working with Luis never made it feel that way. When we were very specific about something, he always made it happen; and when there were decisions we weren't sure about, he offered his advice and guidance, and he was never wrong.<\/p>

I can happily say that there were many things we gave him creative freedom with, and he made them absolutely perfect. Seeing how all those months of planning and hard work by him and his team came together on our wedding day was simply incredible. Our wedding was perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing. He thought of everything, from the biggest to the smallest details, without overlooking anything.<\/p>

To this day, years later, our friends and family still talk about our wedding and say it was one of the best they've ever attended. It's even become an inside joke among our group of friends that if we could have Luis and his team organize every event in our lives, we would do so without hesitation.<\/p>

I can honestly say that we enjoyed every part of the wedding planning process and, of course, the big day itself. We really didn't experience any stress, which I think is very rare and says a lot about his professionalism. They respected our budget, helped us find a beachfront location that met all our desires, and accompanied us with impeccable attention every step of the way. As this was our first time organizing a celebration\u2014and with guests from different cultures\u2014their support was key in choosing a buffet that made everyone feel welcome. The result was perfect: every dish and every drink was exquisite. Our guests still talk about it.<\/p>

The religious ceremony was very important to us, and Luis made sure everything went flawlessly. Thanks to him, we had a bilingual priest who celebrated a beautiful mass in English and Spanish, something that touched us deeply and that we will always carry in our hearts.<\/p>

And the party... it was incredible! From the moment we entered the reception venue, we were amazed. Special mention goes to the gazebo decoration, which looked like something out of a dream. Luis, with just a few inspirational photos from Pinterest, transformed the space into something magical, welcoming, and unforgettable.<\/p>

Luis and the team at Siente Bodas planned our destination wedding in Cartagena and we could not be happier with the outcome. We met with Luis several times remotely to discuss venues, vendors, and themes and he was always prepared and knowledgeable. We travelled once before the wedding to take our engagement photos, try wedding food, do makeup trials, and tour the venue and he ensured that we made the most of that visit. And finally when the day came he ensured it was incredible, he was prepared for things we hadn\u2019t considered and all contingencies. His vendors were incredible and his arrangement was beautiful.
